With the relaxation of COVID restrictions, we just wanted to keep you informed about how this will affect your visits to us here at Cogito.

As always, our aim is to make your visit to the bookshop as relaxing, pleasant, and as safe as possible. So, with this in mind we’ve taken the decision that as a team we will all continue to wear face visors in addition to having hand sanitiser available for use by booksellers and customers. Although, under the new guidelines it’s no longer mandatory for customers to wear face coverings in shops, we’ll be continuing to recommend that you do so while you’re inside the bookshop. We’ll also still be monitoring how many customers we have in the shop at any one time in order that everyone feels they have sufficient space to browse comfortably.

Please do rest assured that if you’re unable to get to the shop at present, we’re still here on the phone; you can contact us on 01434 602555 and we’re still able to offer a postal service (as well as delivery in Hexham).
