    It's exciting to pass through the door of Cogito Books, because I know I'm going to leave with a book I haven't yet met and wouldn't have found without the friendly expertise of Claire and Hilary. They have all the books you expect and then the leavening of the unexpected, and they know how to match books to their proper readers.

    Just the best independent bookshop I know. Worth a round trip of 50 miles! Always helpful and friendly with great recommendations and an exciting range of book events. It's so exciting to be involved!
